Our week in pictures

See what happens when I don’t post in 6 days….a long post of complete randomness. Liam has been practicing his new walking skills more and more each day. I think he only does it because he LOVES for us to cheer for him with each step he takes.

He loves to “bear walk” and do headstands. Isn’t his new Nantucket Plaid fishnoodle diaper adorable!

He has mastered drinking from a straw and is happy without having bottles during the day as long as he has his straw cup!

 

I finally put up some fall decorations. We call these the “pretty lights” and Liam points the them and smiles all evening long….goodness I can’t wait until he sees the Christmas tree!

 

Speaking of Christmas I had a failed attempt at taking some Christmas pictures…this was the best shot I got. Thank goodness it is going to be in the upper 60’s this week and I can attempt to do them again.

 

We had Liam’s 1 year well baby check up on Tuesday and his doctor confirmed he is working on getting a molar. The kiddo has been gnawing on everything!

 

His check up went well. He is as average as they come, 23 pounds (50th percentile), 30 inches (60th percentile), and his head circumference was in the 48th percentile. He got three shots and did pretty well afterwards. Alex told me to stop and get him a treat for being a brave boy so we went to Starbucks and got a caramel apple spice (steamed apple juice) and petite vanilla scones..he hate them up!

All ready for Thanksgiving.

 

These Chuck trucks are his new favorite toy…he LOVES driving them all over the house. 

Liam will turn the xbox on multiple times per day…here is evidence he knows how to do it with the controller. Can we say mini Alex or what?

 

Oooooh throwing balls…. the game of choice these days.

 

 

 

Yesterday was so much fun for me. Liam and I watched The Muppets Christmas Carol together and the three of us watched Christmas Eve on Sesame Street last night. I cannot tell you how many times I have seen both of these movies in my life and it was so fun to watch them with Liam. I think it is safe to say Liam is a fan of anything created by Jim Henson.
