Yay!! Show Us Your Life is back! When SUYL first started last year the first few weeks were a home tour. I jumped in on the fun after this was over so I am excited to post our home tour this year.
I admire bloggers that are “real” and honest….and today that is what I am going to be. I got up and took pictures of our living room AS IS…right now. No fluffing, not even straightening up the bomb of toys that went off this morning…..maybe I am being more lazy than “real'” but that’s okay.

Doesn't get any better than that! I love your honesty.... my living room looks like that minus the baby gates... I guess I just enjoy chasing after mine all day long. Now, could you actually imagine what it would look like without baby.... I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Great picture! :)
Over from Kelly's Korner and I LOVE THAT you were honest about your living room and didn't fluff! Awesome! I didn't have time to take pics of mine, but you would definitely see my tumbleweedsof dog hair and tons of toys. thanks for being real! :)
Also over from Kelly's Korner and I think your post is my fav! I love that you were real and it totally looks like your son has some fun in your living room! I understand, because I think my 2 year old has taken over the whole house! Haha, but so worth it!
too funny... the joys of parenthood. Love it! We have a two story, and man sometimes you can't even make it up the stairs. lol. It's amazing how they can turn a place up side down. :)
That's a great living room! My son is only seven months right now, but I know before long his stuff will be taking over.
Thanks for sharing!
Stopping by from SUYL - This is pretty similar to what mine would look like!! Love that you didn't clean up one bit!! If someone stops by - I always say "Sorry about the mess, but we live here". Haha! :)
LOVE that you are keeping it real HA! I have a 2 year old and a 7 month old.....I completely understand!
Love the baby gate area - so precious! Your wall of frames is wonderfully arranged too!
I love it! My living room tends to be covered in toys too. I do like seeing honest posts that show other people's lives are just as crazy as mine. Of course, for my own post I confined the toys to a corner of the room to take pictures... I am a coward.
Haha! I love your honesty! I came over from Kelly's Korner, and love that you just took pictures. PS The only reason mine is clean in the pictures is because they were taken when we first moved into the house! :)
love your honesty! your picture wall is gorgeous!
Thanks for posting!! I love looking at all of the beautiful and clean living rooms, but that is not our reality most days.
I love your post...I have a few of those coming up in the next few weeks. My living room is about the only place I win at keeping tidy !!
Thanks for sharing !
Hi, I found you through Show us your life Friday. Can I just say thank you for being so honest! You made me feel like I am not the only one who has kids taken over things. Thank you
Thank you for sharing your pics of a real living room. I was starting to feel bad about the state my home is in right now after looking at all of the pictures of perfectly cleaned homes. After a busy week with three kids, my house has stuff all over the place. I love to see the way people really live!
I love it! =)
Oh man... I would LOVE to have that gate!!! Then maybe I could get a rest from chasing around Katelyn all day  I also got a chuckle out of the "Didn't Know I was Pregnant" show. I watch that all the time too. :)
This post made me laugh right out loud because we had a gate similar to that and girlie that is totally what our living room and Kelcee's playroom looked like!! I do love your living room and the colors!! I watch TLC I didn't know I was pregnant too
xoxo
Summer :0)
This is hilarious! Our living room was only tidy because we had JUST moved in and I'd finally managed to unpack everything. Currently there is a huge pile of clothes on one of the chairs waiting to be ironed (and I mean HUUUUUGE) and toys everywhere! You're blog is just too cute, although you do have me slightly worried about a pumpkin shortage!....
Love this. I was wondering if everyone else was bluffing, or they just didn't allow kids in their house. Even though they had claimed to have them???
