::Just picking up where I left off in this challenge…what can I say life got in the way::
In college both Alex and I took a few art history courses. Some may be surprised to know it was by choice and we both really enjoyed them. We took two art mecums field trips together with college classes one to Philadelphia and another to Washington DC. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed looking at some of the works we had studied about. That being said I have been fascinated by the technique of pointillism or stippling. It is quite amazing to me. One of the most famous work of art done with pointillism is Georges Seurat’s (the creator of the pointillism technique) Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte.
Gothic architecture i find absolutely beautiful. As an example here is the Milan Cathedral in Italy.
