Well Mr. Liam got a cold. Luckily, it has not been as bad as the cold he had a few months ago. The one thing that has suffered with this cold is naps…which lead to Liam falling asleep eating lunch on Friday and dinner on Saturday… literally chewing slowly with him eyes closed until his head dropped…eye yiyi…
He was kind enough to share his cold with me, I guess it is to be expected when you are covered in someone else's boogers all day, oh the joys of mommyhood. I have to give a huge shout out to Alex who let me sleep a little later both Saturday and Sunday until my medically induced sleep cycle was over (mmm Nyquil the one positive to having a cold).
The forecast for Saturday was 2-4 inches of snow, by 8am we had 4 so we knew they were a bit off. We ended up getting about 6 inches in total. I wish Liam didn’t have a cold so we could have taken him out to play but I am sure we will have many more times this winter to play in the snow. He loved standing at the window and watching the snow fall.
We stayed home the large majority of the weekend and watched tv, movies, played xbox, and played with cars and trucks.
