Show Us Your Life: Your City
The topic of today’s Show Us Your Life is Your City.
Well “My City” is still MountainTop, PA, where both Alex and I were born and raised and quite the opposite of where we live now, Indianapolis.
This is the house i grew up in, thanks to bing maps birds eye view.
This is our house in Indy…
This is the high school Alex and I went to …. good old Crestwood High School.
…this will be Liam’s high school.
Mountaintop doesn’t really have a whole lot to offer besides pizza places and banks … but it has amazing scenery. You don’t realize how much you take mountains for granted until you move to “the middle”.
Indy on the other hand has A LOT to offer.
This is a picture of downtown and the canal. I used to work right by the canal and it was awesome to go to lunch at Buggs Temple and sit outside on the patio that overlooks the canal.
Monument Circle during the Christmas season.
Of course Lucas Oil Stadium.
Brickyard, Indianapolis Motor Speedway!
The Indianapolis Zoo….i CANNOT wait to take Liam this summer.
The Children’s Museum.
…and of course a wide variety of amazing restaurants.
St. Elmos
Eagle’s Nest at The Hyatt
Shopping is amazing too!
I hope you enjoyed taking a look at my two cities.

The Lee Train
Are you all aboard the Lee train? I sure am! Last night he sang one of my favorite songs and I thought it was just too good not to share with anyone who didn’t or doesn’t watch American Idol. Liam and I have danced around the house singing it over ten times this morning and we’ve only been up for an hour and a half. Enjoy!
I have officially become a Gleek over the past few months.
I look forward to Wednesday mornings to watch Glee on the DVR more than any other day or show. Have you seen the Glee flash mobs? I think this would be awesome to be a part of!

Liam’s First Boo Boo
Liam got his first boo boo after taking a tumble into a laptop. Poor baby, we felt so bad. Thank goodness he was fine and wanted to go back to playing within a few minutes…. such a boy.
On Sunday we went to Alex’s softball game and Liam got to wear his jersey i made him. It was my first attempt at making a print out iron on and being a perfectionist to a fault i was not very happy with it but it wasn’t too bad for a first try.
The MAM pacifiers that Liam uses come in three different sizes so that they fit babies mouth as they grow (0-2 months, 2-6, and 6 months plus). Liam started putting the whole pacifier in his mouth so we knew it was time to move up to the next size. He loves them because he is able to have the paci in his mouth and his thumb through the hole.
I was so excited to be reunited with an Indiana friend on Sunday for the first time in almost a year. We had one of those conversations that i walked away from realizing just how lucky i am. She is going through a very rough situation that doesn’t have a very bright light at the end of the tunnel and i feel for her so much.
On a happier note to the get together she has a son who is only 5 months older than Liam and the two had a great time together. Liam loves being with kids his own age, i wish we knew more that lived by us.

Kind of, sort of… crawling
So Liam is “crawling”, I'm not sure if that is the best word for what he is doing but he is getting up on his knees and eventually making it to his toy of choice (slowly but surely).
Here is a video of him playing, “crawling” and eating some strawberries (he was covered).
