Lots of videos

I finally uploaded a bunch of new videos of Liam, yay!

Alright, so i guess Daddy was not too happy with the dances Liam learned while watching Glee sooo…he did an intervention and taught him to head bang…he is such a rocker . Now every time i ask him to dance he does this.

He is getting really good walking with his walker toys. I have another video i need to get off Alex’s phone that is better.

Although he doesn’t do it in this video one of Liam’s new favorite things to do is crawl behind the recliner and hide until we say “where’s Liam’ and he pops his head up.

About two weeks ago Liam learned how to sit himself up on his knees, before now he would need a toy of some sort to help but now he just does it. He also started jumping on his knees when he gets excited. The next to videos are from the same night playing with his bunny and penguin.

Day 3 of 30 Days of Blogging – Favorite TV Show

Oooooh TV shows…I love TV, i really do. When i first looked at the list of topics for 30 Days of Blogging this is probably the one i was most excited to write about. One of the things Alex and I have been doing for years now (since we got Netflix back in 2006) is watch TV shows that had gone off the air… (a rare few were still on the air) most of which were totally awesome and make me want to stomp my feet in anger that they got cancelled. Okay, once again this is going to be a list of my favorites because although i could choose just one (which is listed last) the others are just too good not to list.

Arrested Development…..I have a small obsession with Jason Bateman since watching this show.

 

Wonderfalls…this is Alex’s favorite that we have watched.

Freaks and Geeks….felt like i was watching the story of my adolescence.

Dexter….oh Dexter…we watched 18 hours in two days…yes, it is addicting.

Malcolm in the Middle …we have watched every episode at least five times, no lie or exaggeration.

Pushing Daisies …i loved this show.

  

Dead Like Me … don’t fear the reaper. We just finished this series a few weeks ago, i am so sad that it is over.

 

…and my number one…

Veronica Mars …. we got hooked on this show as much as we did Dexter…long, long nights and many times saying “oh just one more episode”…. we finished the second season last night and are starting season three tonight. Honestly, it is an amazing show. The actors are chosen perfectly for the roles they play. I cannot say enough about this show, you must watch it if you have not already. It will not disappoint!

Day 2 of 30 Days of Blogging – Favorite Movie

Alex and I are avid movie watcher and  there are many movies that I truly love (Pirates of the Caribbean series, Batman Begins, Harry Potter series) but to me a favorite movie is one that I can watch over and over and over again. My three favorite movies are…

 

Day Trip to Nashville, Indiana

This weekend I really wanted to get away and take a small trip with my boys. I had origionally started planning a trip to Chicago for an air show and rib festival but our plans fell through because Alex wasn’t able to take a half day Friday to drive up. So we opted for a trip down to Brown County. I have heard a lot about Brown County since moving here two years ago. Many people have told me that we had to visit because it sounded a lot like the Pennsylvania landscape.

 

Driving down we were so excited because we started to see trees and mountains!! Downtown Nashville was absolutely adorable with so many cute shops, everything from homemade candies to antiques.

About an hour after we got there it started to rain, luckily we grabbed a great seat and enjoyed some iced cream until it passed. I got pumping ice cream which was to die for…so good!

 

Liam had a good time  watching the rain.

 

….and Liam’s special treat from his first road trip…a lollipop! He loved it, of course, but wasn’t too excited that he had to stop to get his picture taken.

Day 1 – My favorite Song

It has always been a challenge for me to answer this questions. Typically, I always give my top three, so that is what I am going to do today….except I am going to take one out because I will use it for the answer to another question in a few days. If you have ever met Liam in real life…this would totally explain a lot.

HAHA I simply cannot imagine this kiddo caffeinated!

On Friday Liam and I hit up a community garage sale with our friends Sara and her daughter Sage (who Liam smooched on Wednesday). I got him two Ralph Lauren rugby shirts (that he won’t wear until he is 4 but they were too good to pass up), three Elmo dvds, and a blues clues plate that he loves. On Saturday morning Alex, Liam and I went to another community sale and found this great play table. These play tables are well worth their weight in goal at this stage. Liam LOVES them!!!!

He was super excited for his new toy.

I have been trying to get a picture of my new haircut, this is the best i could to. It was the end of the day, hence both of us in jammies.

The boy is getting better and better everyday walking with help. Although most times he looks like a little ballerina. He is doing so good walking between objects thought, like the coffee table cubes and the couch or the exersaucer and recliner. He always does stuff better on his own than with our help.

On Friday Liam and I went to TJ Maxx after a lunch date with Alex and I got him a set of new sippy cups. The brand is Tilty and so far we really like them. Okay, so they are not spill proof which can be messy but the way they are designed they don’t need to be tilted back very far to be able to drink out of them. There are a few different lids you can get for them, a regular flow, slow flow, smoothie lid (which a straw fits in), and a travel lid.

Okay once again i really just need to ask…how did he get so big!!!! Seriously, a SHORT nine months ago he looked like this….

Top Teeth

Have been NO FUN coming in….yikes! and the worst part is that i can feel the big tooth bulging below the gums but it still has a far journey to freedom. It seems Liam is having a much harder time teething his top tooth than he did the bottom two…hoping it comes through soon so he has some relief. As i told my Mom today, i think giving the choice Liam would choose to have himself sewn to my side because he has spent all day attached to me.

Liam’s new thing is to carry toys around in his mouth, it cracks me up every time.

 

Liam’s Great Aunt Debbie bought him this fun ride on car while she was visiting and he loves it. If he had a choice I think he would have had me push him around the house on it all day today. Not only does he love to ride on it but he loves to tip it over, inspect it, and spin the wheels (you know Liam and his obsession with spinning a wheel of any kind).

 

On Sunday I remodeled the “party pit” to allow us and Liam more open space. It is awesome! We all love it!!

Sunday night we all went to dinner and Liam wore the cutest little outfit. He was so good at dinner and had a field day eating crackers, drinking water, and flirting with the waitress, and an impromptu game of peek a boo with a napkin.

This picture was from Alex’s moms birthday party and i just thought Liam looked so big and old…it kind of makes me sad. The cake was awesome! Chocolate Overdose Cake…a layer of brownie, chocolate mousse, and chocolate cake…yeah, it was awesome!

Yesterday I got my hair cut and took along this picture.

I love the way it turned out, just like the picture. I was slightly embarrassed when the stylist asked me where the girl was from or what she was in because she looked familiar and I had to tell her “from the TV show Jonas “ ….. Oh yes she looked familiar because her six year old daughter watches the show.

I have been working hard on a lot of custom orders for friends through my etsy shop. I am so excited to finally have some stuff listed! Yayy!!!
