Show Us Your Life – Kids (and future) Names

I am so excited for today’s Show Us Your Life because i love talking names!

Show Us Your Life with Kelly's Korner

Obviously our first boy choice was…

Liam Alexander

IMG_1125

There are no ties to the name Liam, we just both loved it and Alexander is my husband, father-in-law, and grandfather-in-laws name. I absolutely love the name Liam, i love that it is a “normal’ name but not that common, for example i graduated with 5 Mikes. What is funny though is that since the first time i saw Liam i thought he looked like a Ryan. I don’t know why, i mean he doesn’t look like any of the Ryan’s i know, he just looks like that would be his name.

Our front runners (for now) for our next child (we are shooting for them being two years apart) are:

Boys:

boy

Levi James

Clayton James

Paul James  (still debating on the initials PP being too torturous growing up with, thoughts?)

Again, Levi, Clayton, and Paul no significance other than our liking and James is my grandfather, father and brothers name.

Girls:

girl

Oliva Ann

Lucy Ann

Paige Grace

Yes, again Oliva, Lucy, Paige have no connection, we just like them, Ann is my mom and sisters middle name and Grace is my grandmother and mine.

Sweet names!!!

We have a Benjamin PAUL...I think Paul is such a "manly and classic" type name. But all your name choices are cute!

BTW...my husband loves Gettysburg. He studies yearly at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg and then daytrips when he gets leave to Gettysburg.

We are Midwesterners, stuck here in the middle of the heartland, but huge history buffs! We need to make a move to the East Coast...ha!

I'm partial to the name Levi... that's our youngest boy's name... Levi Joseph. I think it's a great name- kind of tough, very masculine, but sweet at the same time.

All of the girl's names are adorable! I always have an easier time picking a girl's name then a boy's. Do you?

2 years is such a good age difference I think! We don't have our hearts set on a certain time frame, but we are not taking any measures to prevent.

I can 100% relate to the PP initial b/c we named our daughter, Preslei Paige Phillips. I'm so worried kids will call her pee pee! LOL
